HST 4304: Contemporary Issues in Humanities, Science, and Technology

Focusing on a specific issue or set of related issues, which is examined in detail from a variety of perspectives (historical, philosophical, sociological, etc.), this course explores humanistic dimensions of recent science and technology. Topics selected for study have included: science and pseudo-science, science and gender, national traditions in science, and experimentation on human subjects.

This course is taught at least once a year. It fulfills:
